Hiba Moussa, Wrenched into exile from my Iraqi homeland: For years we had endured Saddam Hussein's dictatorship and the wars and U.N. sanctions that reduced Iraq to penury even though it sits on the world's third largest oil reserves.

After the U.S.-led invasion that toppled him in 2003, we hoped to see solutions for Iraq's wrecked infrastructure, unemployment and lack of public services. But what troubled me, like all Iraqis, was the complete breakdown of security.

In July 2005, Reuters hired me as a reporter in Baghdad. I kept my job secret even from my next-door neighbor. Many Iraqis who work for foreign companies have ended up threatened, kidnapped or dead. I wanted to avoid that fate.

Things got even worse after the bombing of a Shi'ite shrine in Samarra in February 2006. Sunni-Shi'ite killings multiplied. The shadow of sectarian violence was chasing everyone.

Last year, my 29-year-old cousin, a Shi'ite, and his Sunni friend were halted at a fake police checkpoint while they were passing through one of Baghdad's most dangerous neighborhoods.

My cousin was shot dead on the spot. His friend was so badly beaten up he had to be taken to hospital.

This fear of Jewish swarm attacks already brought much sorrow to mankind. In 1930s, the famous American aviator Charles Lindbergh called the US to stay out of the coming war in Europe. He was attacked by the Jewish media as a Nazi and a Hitler sympathiser, was besmirched and “overnight Lindbergh went from cultural hero to moral pariah”. Now again, the US is being pushed by the same forces into a new war, this time in the Middle East. Let us try and stop it by being fearless, for as a Jewish Hassid spiritual song hath it, “haikar lo lefahed bihlal”, the most important is not to be afraid at all. Carter brought us hope that there is an America the world can live with, a non-aggressive, democratic America, whose policies aren’t decided by the rich donors, but by the ordinary Americans who voted against the war, and who today gather in Washington calling to stop escalation.

حقيقة الاشتباكات التي جرت أمس في منطقة الزركة شمال شرق النجف وأبعاد ما حدث وحقيقة القتلى بالأسماء والأماكن الدقيقة بعد انتهاء المسرحية المفبركة للاشتباكات. إن بداية القصة تبدأ في الساعة السادسة من فجر يوم الأحد على لسان الشاهد علي عبد الله الحاتمي أحد الذين شاركوا بتلك الاشتباكات حيث يسرد التفاصيل ويقول في الساعة السادسة من صباح يوم الأحد وصل موكب عزاء أبو عبد الله الحسين الخاص بعشيرة الحواتمة وهي من أكبر العشائر العربية الأصيلة القاطنة في المنطقة المحصورة ما بين الديوانية والنجف وكان الموكب يضم ما يقارب 200 شخص جاءوا من مناطق عدة تابعة لتلك العشيرة لتقديم العزاء لأبي عبد الله مثل كل عام ولدى وصولهم إلى منطقة الزركة شمال شرق النجف والتي تضم عشيرة آل خزعل العربية المعروفة وكانت سابقًا تعتبر إحدى الإمارات وقت الغزو البريطاني للعراق من بداية القرن الماضي والعشيرتان تتمتعان بعلاقات قوية مع أهل السنه كونهم عرب نجباء. وأضاف وعند وصول موكب أبي عبد الله الحسين كانت مع الموكب سيارة من نوع سوبر موديل 1982 بيضاء اللون تحمل رقم 3214 العراق القادسية، وتقل الحاج سعد نايف الحاتمي وزوجته حيث أتوا بالسيارة كونهم لا يقدرون على المشي ومع منع الجيش العراقي لاقتراب أي سيارة من حدود النجف قام الجنود بدون سابق إنذار بإطلاق النار بشكل كثيف على السيارة فقتلوا السائق وهو جابر رضا الحاتمي والشيخ سعد النايف وزوجته الأمر الذي دفع بأبناء العشيرة في موكب المعزين للهجوم على نقطة التفتيش تلك ومهاجمتها بغرض أخذ حقهم من قاتل الشيخ وزوجته والسائق. واوضح الشاهد علي عبد الله الحاتمي لقد كنا غاضبين جدًا من هؤلاء القتلة وهم من عصابة فيلق بدر بدون شك ولدى اقترابنا منهم ركضوا دون أن نبدأ في أي رمي للرصاص عليهم وكنا مسلحين كون الطريق مخيف خاصة في الليل ونحمل سلاحًا لحماية أنفسنا، وبدأت نقطة التفتيش التي واجهناها في إطلاق النار الكثيف علينا وسقط منا أكثر من عشرين شخصًا ثم قمنا نحن بإطلاق النار عليهم وتبادلنا هذا الإطلاق للنيران لمدة عشرة دقائق وفزعت معنا عشيرة آل خزعل كونهم حلف معنا في الحرب والسلم، وقامت تلك النقطة بالاتصال بقيادة الجيش العراقي والشرطة وأبلغوهما بأن القاعده تقوم بالهجوم الآن من كل الاتجاهات وأن عناصرها يحملون أسلحه متطورة. وتابع وما هي إلا ربع ساعة حتى تقدمت تلك القوات باتجاهنا وحاصرتنا في البساتين وقامت بإطلاق النار علينا ونحن بدورنا مع الخزاعلة قمنا بالتصدي لها، ثم وصلت مروحيات ومقاتلات أمريكية إلى المنطقة، وعندها علمنا أننا هلكنا لأن المروحيات قامت بإلقاء أوراق فوقنا تقول (إلى الإرهابيين سلموا أنفسكم قبل أن نقوم بقصف شامل للمنطقة). ويكمل الشاهد سرده لما حدث قائلاً أثناء محاصرتنا وقتل عدد كبير منا وصل إلى أربعين شخصًا خلال ساعة واحدة تمكن الجيشان الأمريكي والعراقي من الوصول إلى بساتين الخزاعلة وهناك عثروا على لافتات الموكب وفيها مكتوب ’يا مظلوم يا حسين يا أبا عبد الله الشفاعة‘ و لوحه كتب فيها ’موكب عزاء الحواتمه في الديوانية يعزي صاحب العصر والزمان باستشهاد أبي عبد الله الحسين‘، وتيقن أزلام إيران أننا لسنا من القاعدة بل شيعة، فقاموا باختراع تلك القصة العجيبة. وأضاف لقد عزز القصة المفبركة بيان مكتب السيستاني الذي عرف بعدائه لعشيرتنا العربية بسبب موقفها المعادي لإيران عندما قال مكتبه إن ضال مضل من شيعه أهل البيت يدعى أنه المهدي يقف على حدود المدينة المقدسة فاقطعوا رأس الفتنه وهو التصريح الذي قاله أبو كلل محافظ النجف ظهر يوم أمس. ويتابع الشاهد بعد محاصرتنا وقتلنا وعدم السماح لنا بالخروج من مخابئنا كنا نتركز بين كنطرة البو جعيفر وبساتين طين خوير وكان الاحتلال والقوات العراقية يتقدمان صوبنا ويطلقان النار بكثافة كبيرة فما كان منا إلا أن أطلقنا النار عليهم بكثافة في كل الاتجاهات فاضطروا إلى التوقف لمدة ساعتين كاملتين، ولذا فإننا لا ندري هل أسقطت الطائرة بنيراننا أم بنيرانهم الصديقه لكننا كنا نرمي في الهواء أيضا بسلاح خفيف كلاشنكوف فقط ومن المستبعد أن تكون الطائرة أسقطت بنيراننا. ويردف وفي الساعة الرابعة بدأ تقدم جديد علينا وكان الجنود يسمعوننا نصرخ: ’يا أبا عبد الله يا حسين يا علي‘ في وقت واحد ولما عرفنا أنهم عازمون على قتلنا عن بكرة أبينا لطمس حقيقتنا اتفقنا على ضرب أي واحد يدخل بستان طين خوير أو كنطرة البو جعيفر وبالفعل عندما دخلوا قمنا بضربهم بشدة وأسقطنا منهم ما لا يقل عن عشرة جنود ثم قامت المروحيات بقصفنا وعندها قتل أغلبنا وتمكنت أنا من الفرار عن طريق لوفة البو عباس إلى طريق الكوفة القديم وكنت الناجي الوحيد من بين خمسه أشخاص فقط أما بقية رفاقي فكلهم قتلوا أو أسروا، وكان مجموع من قتل بحسب آخر علم لي بهم قبل فراري هو 121 شخصًا تقريبًا والبقية إما جرحوا أو أسروا. وبين الشاهد :ولقد جعل المعتدون العملية تستمر لمدة يوم كامل وكان بإمكانهم القضاء علينا في ساعة واحدة ثم قالوا عنا أفغان وسعوديين ومصريين هذا كل ما حدث ويشهد الله أنه لا جند السماء ولا جند الأرض ولا يحزنون، ومن أراد أن يصدق أن هذه الحقيقة فليصدق ومن أراد أن يبتلع ما روج له إعلام إيران فله ذلك. وقال الشيخ خلف عبد الحسين الخزعلي أحد شيوخ الخزاعله عن الحادث قتلت الحكومة يوم أمس أكثر من 100 من عشيرة الحواتمة و33 من عشيرتنا الخزاعلة خلال الاشتباكات وقالوا في البداية إنهم قاعدة جماعة الزرقاوي وأنهم مصريون وسعوديون وأفغان ثم قالوا إنهم جماعة جند السماء وتابعين لشخص يقول إنه وصي المهدي المنتظر ولا أدري من أين جاءوا بتلك الأكاذيب. وبين الصحفي أوس الخفاجي انه كان في فندق أحباب الحسين الواقع وسط النجف بعد ان تجمع أكثر من 13 صحافيًا بينهم الصحافي الأمريكي المشهور هوفمن سمث وفي الساعة العاشرة من صباح يوم أمس كنا قد اتفقنا مع الجانب الأمريكي على التوجه إلى موقع الاشتباكات وتم تجهيز كاميرات وأجهزة SNG للبث المباشر لوكالة الNBC وتلفزيون آخر إلا أننا تفاجئنا بدخول قوة عراقية من مكتب محافظ النجف وأمرتنا بعدم مغادرة الفندق وقامت بإغلاق باب الفندق ومنعونا من التوجه إلى المكان لسبب غير معروف كما منعونا من إجراء أي لقاء مع أي عنصر أمن في المدينة. واضاف إلا أن هوفمن كونه أمريكي كانت له صلاحية أن يفعل أي شيء فقام بالاتصال بمكتب السيماك الأمريكي وهو مكتب إعلامي وأبلغهم بالحادثة وجاء الأمريكيون فقاموا بأخذ هوفمن فقط مع الصحافيين الأجانب وأخبرونا أنهم سيأخذون الأمريكيين إلى بغداد كون المنطقة خطرة، وعندها علمنا أن شيئًا قد حدث وبالفعل اتصلت بزملائي وعلمت أن قناة العراقية فقط أرسلوا إليها لتغطية تصريحات الجنود العراقيين وكيف يطلقون النار وإعطائها تصريحات لبثها لقادة عراقيين. وعند الديوانية جاء النبأ اليقين انه في الساعة الثالثة من عصر امس وتحت تكتم شديد دخلت إلى الديوانية أربع وخمسون جثة لقتلى عشيرة الحواتمة العربية وتم دفنها في مقبرة الحواتمة الواقعة على بعد خمسة كيلومترات غرب الديوانية. اما القتلى فأسمائهم حسين سرهيد الحاتمي صاحب محل حلاقة في قرية الشافعية،عدنان فرج كريم الحاتمي سائق أجرة قتل مع ابنه حاتم،فراس مهيب عبد فلك الحاتمي طالب في كلية الإدارة والاقتصاد جامعة الديوانية المرحلة الثانية،منصور حسن عتروش الحاتمي صاحب محل لبيع الدجاج في سوق المليحة،كريم عبد محسن شوك الحاتمي يسكن حي الرشاد عند بناية البريد القديمة،علي حسين الحاتمي طالب في الصف السادس الإعدادي في مدرسة الديوانية التجريبية،مؤمن محمد الحاتمي صاحب تسجيلات كلمة ونغم في منطقة الحمزة،ياسر جعفر ندا الحاتمي عسكري سابق وحاليًا كاتب عرائض في محكمة الديوانية،إبراهيم عبد الله الحاتمي طالب في كيلة التربية قسم اللغه العربية المرحلة الرابعة ورئيس اتحاد الطلاب في الكليه بجامعة الديوانية،أركان عبد الله الحاتمي طالب كلية،بشير عبد الله الحاتمي موظف حكومي،عبد الله حسين الحاتمي `والد الثلاثة`،سلام حسين عبد الكريم الحاتمي شرطي في مركز شرطة الحمزة،أمين علي الحاتمي مصلح ميزانية ومتخصص سيارات يابانية في الحي الصناعي،سعد نايف الحاتمي أول القتلى في السيارة السوبر،حليمه خواف مناتي الحاتمي زوجة سعد نايف الحاتمي،عباس عبد حمزة أبو خليف الحاتمي سائق السيارة،وهيب حسين عبد الرضا الحاتمي،صادق منيصير الحاتمي صاحب معرض البهيج للكهربائيات. وفي الديوانية عند منطقة عفك وفي مستشفى النجف سبعون قتيلًا وينقل مراسل المفكرة عن طبيب طلب عدم الإفصاح عن اسمه أن وفدًا من عشيرة الحواتمة والخزاعلة يتفاوض حاليًا مع محافظ النجف وشيروان الوائلي لتسلم جثث أبنائهم والتي تبلغ 70 جثة في مستشفى النجف بثلاجة حفظ الموتى. وذكر مصدر أمني أن الوفد هدد بما لا تحمد عقابه إذا لم تسلم الجثث خلال أربع وعشرين ساعة خاصة أن من بينها أربع نساء وصبيان، منجد التميمي وأطوار بهجت على خطى أطوار بهجت الصحافية العراقية التي حاولت كشف مسرحية تفجيرات سامراء ، قتل الصحفي العراقي منجد التميمي وهو من أهالي مدينة النجف يسكن في حي الشرطة محلة 634 زقاق 14 دار 54 قتل بعد تصوير تلك الجثث في المستشفى. وقال والد الصحافي إن ابنه قتل عند أفران الحسن في نفس الحي الذي يسكنه وتمت سرقة كاميرته وهاتفه الجوال مؤكدًا أن القتيل يعمل بصفة مصور صحفي حر وهو ما يعرف بالعراق بصحافة القطعة أي أنه يصور ويعرض صوره على الوكالات لغرض نشرها ويتقاضى منها مبلغًا ماديًا جيدًا وهي وظيفة انتشرت كثيرًا في العراق بسبب أجورها العالية التي يتقاضاها الصحافي وهي أفضل من الارتباط بوكالة ذات راتب محدد. ومما تفضح به مفكرة الإسلام هزلية وزيف هذه المسرحية الكشف عن حقيقة أنه في الساعة التاسعة صباح يوم الأحد خرج وزير الداخلية العراقي جواد البولاني وأعلن أن `المدينة المقدسة` تهاجم من قبل القاعدة، وفي الساعة التاسعة والربع خرج شيروان الوائلي وزير الأمن القومي وأعلن أنهم جماعة `جند السماء` أتباع رجل يدعي أنه وصي المهدي، ثم في الساعة التاسعة والنصف خرج مستشار الأمن القومي موفق الربيعي وأعلن أن المهاجمين هم سعوديون من القاعدة، وفي الحادية عشرة صباحًا خرج موفق الربيعي وقال إن الأنباء متضاربة عن عدد المهاجمين، وقال: `هؤلاء المهاجمون شرسون ولديهم أسلحة متطورة`. وتعتبر عشيرة الحواتمه وعشيرة الخزاعله أو آل خزعل من أكبر العشائر العربية في جنوب العراق وهي ترفض إقامة أية علاقة مع حزب الحكيم أو حزب الدعوة وأعلنت في 13/7/2006 إهدار دم أي شخص من أبنائها يثبت انتماؤه إلى عصابات جيش المهدي أو فيلق بدر إلا أنهم بقوا متمسكين بمذهبهم الشيعي ويعتبرون أنفسهم عرب أقحاح كما يذكر ذلك الشيخ أبو حسين الحاتمي. اضاف انهم ينكرون سب الصحابه والطعن بعرض الرسول إلا أنهم يعتقدون بأحقية علي بالخلافة ويعتبرون الأمويين والعباسين اغتصبوا الخلافة من أهل البيت، كما ينتمى أغلبهم إلى حزب البعث ومنهم عبد الكريم الحاتمي عضو قيادة فرع حزب البعث لمدينة الديوانية واللواء الركن جعفر خير الدين الحاتمي والطيار علاء الحاتمي أحد أبرز الطيارين العراقيين الذي قيل إنه قام بمسح مدن إيرانية عن بكرة أبيها في عام 1985.
