Baghdad - City of Walls

After six years of occupation, hundreds of thousands Iraqis dead, four to five million Iraqis displaced, five thousand American soldiers dead and tens of billions of dollars siphoned, one end result is that Baghdad is a City of Walls.
This is a series of four videos (10-12 minutes each) by Ghaith Abdul-Ahad, a Baghdad-born award-winning photographer and journalist for the Guardian. The series was shown on Al-Jazeera English channel in its Witness program. The last in the series (part 4) is the most recently filmed and is definitely worth seeing .

Jeff Gates’ Guilt by Association: Guilt by Association makes treason transparent. The corruption that plagues American politics is traced to an alliance with elites and extremists loyal to the Land of Israel. Gates does appear to be audacious in his goals. In Guilt, he appears to be offering us a tool for understanding the massive financial scandals and upsets much of the Western world is now enduring and he ties it to America’s going to war in the Middle East. “America’s post-war leadership embraced an alliance with an elitist and fundamentalist subculture within Judaism’s broader faith tradition.”
Nicely put about “Judaism’s broader faith tradition,” but what he has to say about that subculture is less charitable: “The Zionism chronicled in this account describes a transnational organized crime agenda featuring financial and political domination by elites and extremists.” For instance, America, Gates argues, is in Iraq now because “the war in Iraq is the product of a trans-generational syndicate skilled at displacing facts with (false) beliefs. Those masterful at manipulating thoughts and beliefs are also responsible for enabling organized crime to expand to a global scale.”

April 8, 2009 -- U.S. authorities knew of Shi'a militia bomb making cell in Iraq and permitted it to continue its terrorist attacks without interference: WMR has been informed by a former private military contractor in Iraq that the United States was aware of the identities and even the cell phone numbers of several bomb making operatives within Muqtada al Sadr's Mehdi Army. The bomb cells were reponsible for detonating a number of bombs in Iraq that targeted Sunnis and coalition personnel, including Americans.
WMR has been provided with not only details of the U.S. allowing the Mehdi Army bomb cell to operate but also information on high level contract fraud involving companies based in Dubai, Qatar, Kuwait, Britain, the United States, Australia, and South Africa. The fraud included Kellogg, Brown & Root (KBR), the former subsidiary of Halliburton, both headed up by Dick Cheney before he became Vice President.
What is emerging from this early investigation is that the United States permitted an international contingent of mercenaries and fraudsters to operate openly and without interference in Iraq, especially in Baghdad's Green Zone. Not only did International Zone (IZ) police ignore the corruption and other illegal activities but also actively engaged in them. The corruption and other illegal activities were also countenanced by top officers of the Multi-National Security Transition Command - Iraq (MNSTCI), CIA, and the British military and Foreign Office. General George Casey, now Army chief of staff, and General David Petraeus, former U.S. military commander in Iraq and now head of U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), were also named by our source as key players in the fraud and abuse.
There is also credible information that some of the mercenaries, including ex-U.S. Marine Corps personnel, are now operating in Somalia as "maritime security" advisers but may also be involved in providing cover to Somali "pirate" hijackers in the region.
A number of the personnel involved as private military contractors also exhibited racist behavior toward Iraqi employees.
WMR has received a copy of an email sent by an official of one private military contractor to an Iraqi sub-contractor employee. Part of the email follows:

"you are sending hate mail to the Army about us, after we treated you fairly...you will regret what you are doing and I consider you a brown Satan.
you overpriced us on all the jobs and you and XXXX stole almost 25000USD on jobs that you did not report...we overpaid you on two occassions [sic] and you kept the money..you are a cheat..you are an Ali Baba of the first degree...
we paid you fairly for what you did..you should be happy we paid you anything
I have no sympathy for you and am tired of your constant Arab cheating, lying and stealing...you will go to hell when you die....
you did not earn your salary..you cost us a contract..in your typical Arab and preverted [sic] thinking, you want to get paid for not working...you are really a very stupid man and I do not desire to do any more work with you...I will not pay you for not doing any work,,,we are not a welfare agency...we demand our people produce..you did not do that but expect a salary...you are a donkey and a monkey and a pimp..."

The former Marine is an executive of a private military firm based in Kentucky and formerly worked for the South African mercenary firm Executive Outcomes. He has been under investigation for arms trafficking in Africa and offered to kill or kidnap former Liberian dictator Charles Taylor, who is now on trial for war crimes in The Hague. President George W. Bush reportedly signed a $4 million reward for Taylor's capture after the private contractor in question made the offer to kidnap or assassinate Taylor. WMR has been informed that there is an Iraqi warrant out for the arrest of the former Marine in question.
