Insidiuos media smothering by Zionists

A comment from Anonymous on February 21, 2009 7:14 PM on our posting Iraqi Resistance news gagged, but not Al-Zaidi of February 20, 2009 referred to my following note on YouTube's bias regarding what is posted on YouTube when they removed the elimination of Israeli Mossad agents' video clip from my channel:

"Of note, I only have two other videos on YouTube, one of the blowing up of a mosque by cheering American soldiers (note the number of viewers and their comments) and the other of how the arrogant American soldiers drive in a Humvee in Baghdad".

Anonymous said: "I did not see cheering Americans on the video of the destruction of the mosque."

The original description I had for that video clip in 2006 was: "US soldiers yelping with delight at the destruction of a mosque by an American air strike".

It is not seeing them, but hearing them.

It is now apparent that "They" have deleted the sound track. It is as insidious as that.

Iraqi Resistance news gagged, but not Al-Zaidi .. التعتيم على أخبار المقاومة، ما عدا الزيدي

A senior military officer in the Iraqi Defense ministry confirmed (below in Arabic) that the Iraqi Resistance is still attacking American soldiers and causing daily casualties in Anbar, Baghdad, Mosul, Diyala, Samara, Tikrit, Kerkuk and other cities and that the attacks have become more devastating and of a higher caliber.
However, the Iraqi Resistance own news sources in reporting these attacks have been thoroughly smothered by the American occupation forces. The Iraqi government has also assisted in gagging the Iraqi journalists under the control of their unions and the "generous" privilges that are extended to them.
The army officer called the media coverage of the Iraqi Resistance attacks as "shameful".

وقال العقيد أحمد عبد الله من وزارة الدفاع العراقية ضمن فرقة جمع وتحليل المعلومات لـجريدة "العرب" إنه من غير الممكن استعجال القوات الأميركية أو العراقية إعلان النصر في الحرب على الإرهاب والمتمردين هذا العام؛ حيث إن المسلحين لا يزالون يعملون بشكل يومي على استهداف قوات الأمن العراقية والقوات الأميركية في الأنبار وبغداد والموصل وديالى وسامراء وتكريت وكركوك ومدن عدة أخرى، لكن بشكل أقل عما كانت عليه في السابق.ـ

وأوضح عبد الله أن الجيش الأميركي نجح في السيطرة على منافذ الدعاية والإعلام الخاصة بالمسلحين كمواقع الإنترنت والمطويات والمنشورات التي كانوا يوزعونها باستمرار لعملياتهم العسكرية فضلاً عن الضغط على الصحافيين والإعلاميين بشكل مباشر وغير مباشر من أجل التعتيم على تلك العمليات. واصفاً التغطية الإعلامية بالذليلة، وأن الجيش الأميركي - وكذلك الحكومة العراقية - وضعا الصحافيين والمراسلين الحربيين تحت قبة التجمعات والمنظمات النقابية؛ كي تسهل السيطرة عليهم، خاصة بعد مجموعة التسهيلات التي تقدمها لهم عن طريق الحكومة العراقية. معرباً عن اعتقاده في أن استحداث تجمعات ونقابات ومنظمات إعلامية صحفية ساهم في الحد من حرية الصحافي من نقل عمليات مسلحة يقوم بها المتمردون.ـ

وفي معرض رده على سؤال حول عدد الهجمات التي يشنها المسلحون على القوات الأميركية والعراقية قال "لا يمكن إعطاء عدد تقريبي لها، لكن يمكن القول إنها أصبحت نوعية وأكثر تدميراً كما حدث في الموصل والمسيب قبل أيام، لكن الشيء الأهم والجيد في الموضوع هو أن عمليات الاغتيال المنظمة والتصفيات انخفضت بنسبة 90 % وهذا أفضل شيء في الموضوع".ـ

وقال إن الجيش الأميركي يفقد بصورة مستمرة جنوداً له في تفجير عبوات ناسفة وعمليات قنص وسيارات مفخخة "لكن كما أشرت سابقاً هناك ضعف في تغطية ذلك إعلامياً والصحافي الذي ينشر عمليات المسلحين ضد قواتنا أو القوات الأميركية ينظر إليه على أنه صحافي مشبوه؛ لذا أرى من المبكر إعلان النصر، لكني أرى أنه أصبح قريباً خاصة بعد قيام الحكومة بإجراءات جدية للحد من التدخل الإيراني والسوري بالعراق" على حد وصفه.ـ

Having recently spotted a video clip of an Iraqi Resistance attack against a Mossad vehicle while being guarded by two SUVs in the streets of Kerkuk, and to spare the download of the large file for the visitors, I put it up on YouTube and waited for a few days. True to form, within a few days the video clip was removed and I received the following note from YouTube.

عودة الى محاكمة الصحفي الشريف الزيدي:ـ

ـ"أكد الصحافي العراقي منتظر الزيدي الذي رشق جورج بوش بحذائه أثناء زيارته الأخيرة إلى بغداد أنه قام بهذه الخطوة لأن الرئيس الأميركي السابق هو "المسؤول عن الجرائم التي حدثت في العراق".ـ

وقرر القاضي عبدالأمير حسان الربيعي تأجيل الجلسة إلى 12 مارس، موضحاً "قررت المحكمة مخاطبة الأمانة العامة لمكتب رئاسة الوزراء لمعرفة نوع زيارة الرئيس بوش، هل هي زيارة رسمية أو غير رسمي".ـ

وبدأت محاكمة الزيدي بعد شهرين من الحادث، وقال الزيدي الذي سمح له القاضي بالإدلاء بإفادته "لاحظت بوش يتحدث ويبتسم وينظر إلى رئيس الوزراء نوري المالكي بابتسامة جليدية بلا دم وبلا روح وأخذ يمزح مع المالكي، ويقول إنه سوف يتناول العشاء معه بعد المؤتمر".ـ

وأضاف "في تلك اللحظة لم أر إلا بوش، وقد اسودّت الدنيا في عيني وكنت أشعر أن دماء الأبرياء تسير من تحت أقدامي وهو يبتسم تلك الابتسامة قادماً ليودع العراق في العشاء الأخير بعد أكثر من مليون شهيد والخراب الاقتصادي والاجتماعي في البلد".ـ

وتابع "في تلك اللحظة شعرت أن هذا الشخص هو القاتل الأول لشعبي وأنا جزء من هذا الشعب؛ لذا حاولت أن أرد ولو بجزء يسير فانفعلت وضربته بالحذاء لأنه المسؤول عن الجرائم التي حصلت في العراق".ـ

As we were saying about the American corruption in Iraq

"قالت صحيفة "نيويورك تايمز" الاميركية اليوم الاثنين 14 شباط 2009 ان التحقيقات التي تقوم بها السلطات الاميركية بشأن التجاوزات والاختلاسات المالية التي شهدتها ايام الفوضى الاولى في ما يتعلق بتطبيق برنامج اعادة اعمار العراق والتي قدرت المبالغ المختفية فيها بـ 125 بليون دولار قد اتسع اطار الاتهامات فيها لتشمل ضباطا رفعي المستوى ممن اشرفوا على البرنامج، وذلك حسب ما تبين من لقاءات مع كبار المسؤولين الحكوميين ومستندات المحكمة. ودلت سجلات المحكمة على ان المحققين طالبوا رسميا الشهر الماضي بتوفير القيود المصرفية الشخصية للكولونيل انتوني بيل، وهو الان متقاعد من الخدمة في الجيش وكان مسؤولا عن عقود اعادة البناء في العراق عامي 2003 و2004 عندما تحولت عملية ثانوية من قرار احتلال العراق الى محاولة محمومة لاعادة تصليح البنية التحتية المحطمة في البلاد. اضافة الى ذلك فان المحققين يدققون في انشطة الكولونيل رونالد دبليو هيرتل من سلاح الجو، الذي كان كبير مسؤولي التعاقد في بغداد في العام 2004، وذلك حسب ما ورد على لسان اثنين من المسؤولين الحكوميين الاميركيين المشمولين في التحقيق.ولم تتضح ماهية الادلة ضد الرجلين، اللذين قالا انه ليس لديهما ما يخفيانه عن المحققين. الا ان المسؤولين يقولون ان هناك حالات جنائية عديدة تمتد على مدى عدة سنوات تشير الى فساد واسع في العملية التي ساعد الرجلان على مسيرتها. وينظر المحققون بعين الاهتمام الى المعلومات التي ادلى بها لهم احد تجار الاسلحة والمقاولين الاميركيين ويدعى ديل سي ستوفل الذي قتل في العراق اواخر العام 2004. وقبل مقتله بالرصاص شمال بغداد قام بخزن عشرات الالاف من الدولارات في علب بيتزا وسلمها خلسة الى مكاتب التعاقد الاميركية في بغداد، فيما جرى دفع العمولات في اكياس ورقية في المنطقة الخضراء، حسب ما ذكره اثنان من كبار المسؤولين الحكوميين العراقيين.وكان ينظر الى ستوفل الذي قدم معلومات للمحققين حول المكتب الذي كان يعمل فيه بيل وهيرتل بانه موثوق بعد ان منح حصانة محدودة من الاتهام مقابل ما لديه من معلومات، وذلك حسب ما جاء في المستندات التي حصلت عليها صحيفة "نيويورك تايمز" والتي اوردها محامي ستوفل جون كوين. وليس هناك اي دليل على ان لمقتله علاقة باقواله المتعلقة بالفساد.وبلغ عدد الادانات اتي قررتها المحكمة 35 قضية، ضمن اخريات متعلقة باعادة اعمار العراق، وان معظمها يتعلق بمقاولين خاصين او مسؤولين من المستوى المتوسط، اما التحقيق الحالي فانه يستهدف مسؤولين على مستوى اعلى حسب قول المحققين المعنيين في القضية، وانها تحاول تحديد ما اذا كانت هناك علاقة بين هؤلاء المسؤولين وشخصيات في قضايا اخرى. ورغم ان بيل وهيرتل كانا ضابطين عسكريين، فقد كانا يعملان في مكتب تعاقد مدني.وقال محقق حكومي اميركي ان "هذه التحقيقات الطويلة المدى تواصل النضوج والاتساع وتضم في حلقاتها نطاقا اوسع من المشتبهين المحتملين".ويحاول المحققون التحقق مما اذا كانت اعمال الفساد الاميركي عاملا اساسيا في الحاق الضرر بجهود فاشلة قيل ان السبب هو سوء التخطيط والعنف غير المتوقع.وتتولى التحقيق دوائر المحقق العام الخاص لاعادة اعمار العراق ووزارة العدل الاميركية وقيادة التحقيق الجنائي في الجيش ووكالات حكومية اميركية وتتناول فترة جرى فيها الاستيلاء على ملايين الدولارات نقدا، وفي احيان كثيرة في لفائف تضم اوراقا مالية من فئة الـ 100 دولار من احدى الخزانات التي اتسمت بحراسة ضعيفة في الطابق السفلي تحت الارض لاحد قصور صدام حسين السابقة.وفي احدى حالات الاختلاس خلال تلك الفترة اعترف الميجر جون كوكرهام من الجيش الاميركي بقبول رشوة تقارب الـ 10 ملايين دولار بصفته ضابط التعاقد للحرب العراقية من 2004 الى 2007، بعد القاء القبض عليه. كما اعترفت زوجته بالجرم واضافة الى عدد من ضباط التعاقد الاخرين الذين كشفوا عن تورطهم بالاختلاس.وقد انتحر احد ضباط التعاقد في العام 2006 بعد يوم من اقراره لمحققين انه استلم 225 ألف دولار كرشوة للتلاعب بعطاءات لصالح احدى الشركات. واعترف اثنان من ضباط التعاقد السابقين في العراق بانهم استلموا رشاوى في القضية ويتعاونون الان مع المحققين. ويظل هناك عنصر غير عادي في التحقيقات الجارية الا وهو صوت من القبر: انه صوت ستوفل الذي قتل وزميله البريطاني جوزيف وبمبل بالرصاص في احد شوارع بغداد في كانون الاول (ديسمبر) 2004 اثناء عودته من اجتماع عمل في قاعدة عسكرية قريبة من ذلك المكان.وقال احد الاستشاريين في تجارة الاسلحة ممن تعامل ستوفل معهم في دول الكتلة الشرقية ان "العملية تشبه الى حد كبير احداث نيويورك. حيث يتم دفع خمسين الف دولار في صناديق بيتزا لتأمين العقد. وطبعا يبدو انها عملية بيتزا حقيقية".كانت خبرة ستوفل في الكتلة الشرقية واسلحتها قد ساعدت في حصوله على عقد لاعادة تصليح دبابات العراق التي تعود الى فترة الحكم السوفياتي كجزء من برنامج اعادة بناء القوات المسلحة العراقية.وظلت شركته في خلاف مع الحكومة العراقية حول السداد. اما مشاكله مع المسؤولين الاميركيين فهي التي قادته الى توجيه الاتهام بالفساد. وقال احد شركائه ان ستوفل "كان يحاول ان يقوم بذلك من دون ضوضاء ما امكن". واضافوا انه "كان يدرك جيدا ما الذي يجري حوله، وقد أصيب باحباط شديد".ـ

"Before he was shot on a road north of Baghdad, Mr. Stoffel drew a portrait worthy of a pulp crime novel: tens of thousands of dollars stuffed into pizza boxes and delivered surreptitiously to the American contracting offices in Baghdad, and payoffs made in paper sacks that were scattered in “dead drops” around the Green Zone, the nerve center of the United States government’s presence in Iraq, two senior federal officials said.
Mr. Stoffel, who gave investigators information about the office where Colonel Bell and Colonel Hirtle worked, was deemed credible enough that he was granted limited immunity from prosecution in exchange for his information, according to government documents obtained by The New York Times and interviews with officials and Mr. Stoffel’s lawyer, John H. Quinn Jr. There is no evidence that his death was related to his allegations of corruption"

It announced the demise of Dale C. Stoffel, the CIA Shadow Director in Iraq on December 8, 2004. The statement considered Stoffel to be far more important in stature to President Bush than was Paul Bremer. Though the statement is in Arabic, the short video clip is accompanied with several pictures with English subtitles.

The statement also confirmed that it is in possession of many documents on this incident and on the deeds and demise of this CIA Shadow Director. It claims that these documents are presently being translated and that they will shortly be published by the Political Committee.

This is the obituary of Dale C. Stoffel December 18, 2004. ".... As the lawsuit implies, Mr. Stoffel previously worked for the U.S. government. The nature of his government job and how long he held it were not clear yesterday."

"As it fights two wars, the Pentagon is steadily and dramatically increasing the money it spends to win what it calls “the human terrain” of world public opinion. In the process, it is raising concerns of spreading propaganda at home in violation of federal law.
An Associated Press investigation found that over the past five years, the money the military spends on winning hearts and minds at home and abroad has grown by 63 percent, to at least $4.7 billion this year, according to Department of Defense budgets and other documents. That’s almost as much as it spent on body armor for troops in Iraq and Afghanistan between 2004 and 2006."

When, at the end of the video clip, an Iraqi policeman tried to explain how the American soldiers were themselves preventing the Iraqi policemen from carrying out their duties and arresting their officers, the arrogant bearer of 'democracy' shut him up and forbade him to speak any ill of American soldiers.

This is another arrogant role model of how American soldiers drive in Baghdad.

And they spent $4.7 billion on such “human terrain” rubbish in 2008? Good! That helps the free fall of the economy.

Paula Loyd, a Wellesley-educated researcher, began interviewing villagers about the price of cooking fuel - a key indicator of whether insurgents had hijacked supply lines.
As part of a new military program that uses social scientists to improve the troops' understanding of the local population, Loyd began interviewing a gregarious stranger who approached her with a jug of cooking fuel in his hands. He talked for 15 minutes, thanking her profusely in English. But just as her guards motioned it was time to leave, he lit his jug on fire and engulfed the 36-year-old Loyd in flames. Minutes later, her fellow researcher (emphasis added) shot and killed the man.

The shoe hurls yet again : It is a "source of pride for all Iraqis"

A statue built for Iraqi journalist Muntazer al-Zaidi, who hurled his shoes at former U.S. president George Bush, is seen in Tikrit, 150 km (95 miles) Baghdad, January 27, 2009. An Iraqi town has unveiled a giant monument of a shoe in honor of the journalist who threw his footwear at former U.S. President George W. Bush. The letters on the sign reads:
"Muntazer is fasting until the sword breaks his fast with blood, silent until our mouths speak the truth"."

Foreign media say the bronze-coloured fibre-glass shoe was removed from its site in the city of Tikrit on the orders of the local authorities.
It had been erected in the grounds of an orphanage.
The monument was reportedly taken down just a day after being unveiled in the late Saddam Hussein's home town.
The head of the Childhood organisation, which owns the orphanage, said she had been told to remove the monument immediately by the Salaheddin Provincial Joint Coordination Centre.
"I did take the shoe down immediately and destroyed it, and I did not ask why," Shahah Daham told the German news agency DPA.
Salaheddin's deputy governor, Abdullah Jabara, told DPA: "Children should be put away from any political-related issues. Since this is an orphanage, this monument can instil in children's heart things for which the time is not now."
Mr Jabara was also quoted by CNN as saying: "We will not allow anyone to use the government facilities and buildings for political motives.
When the sculpture was unveiled, artist Laith al-Amari insisted it was not a political work, but a "source of pride for all Iraqis". "
